Nachricht:	The Detroit Red Wings have recalled forward Gustav Nyquist to play tonight in place of Mikael Samuelsson. The Wings host the Stars in their home opener at Joe Louis Arena at 7:30 p.m. (FSD). The Wings are also to play tonight in place of defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo, who injured his shoulder in Monday’s win at Columbus. Samuelsson had a tender groin during training camp and aggravated it against the Blue Jackets. “My groin is tight,” Samuelsson said. “It came along during the game. It’s frustrating; you want to come here, obviously, to perform. I’ve been injured before. You have to stay patient, especially with groins, work on it and come back stronger.”Samuelsson said he wasn’t sure whether he’ll skate Wednesday. “It’s too early to say now,” Samuelsson said. “I pulled it a little bit in training camp. It’s the same groin. Gotta be careful with it and take our time, otherwise, it could be a real long time. Coach Mike Babcock said Nyquist will skate on a line with Valtteri Filppula and Johan Franzen and will be used on the power play. “I think he’s going to play here in the not-to-distant future,” Babcock said of Nyquist’s long-term prospects.Nyquist has 14 goals and 26 assists for 40 points in 39 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins this season this season. Defensemen Jonathan Ericsson (shoulder) and Jakub Kindl (groin) remain unavailable for the Wings.Note: Todd Bertuzzi was relieved to learn he has the flu and not mononucleosis.
